Commentary

Similar to the Bantam AA, not a lot of movement since we did a Staff Rankings last Thursday. However, Cloquet moves up a litttle as they start to get some quality wins. They and Moorhead seem to be the early favorites for a berth in State so far. Don't count out Hermantown, Duluth East and Rapids, yet. Those teams have shown recent signs of progress. St. Cloud is firmly established as a top 5 team, beating EP and Stillwater and ties with Moorhead and Rosemount don't go unnoticed. Edina is number 1, they still have yet to hit their stride.

So many good teams not in this week's T10. Prior Lake, Eden Prairie, Andover, Elk River, and Wayzata are teams with T10 wins. Early season favorite Chaska Chan has too much talent to not be a factor sooner or later. This many good teams, plus District Mergers and top tourneys makes for a great game almost every night!

Commentary

The top 5 teams all seem to have a case for being number 1. Orono and Edina are paired in the Hopkins Tournament. The Winner likely wins the tourney, the Loser gets sent to Siberia (Consolation) with no chance at redemption. Several teams will bounce in and out of T10 at PWA this year. Mahtomedi should be in the hunt all year, look for the Zephyrs to win their league.

Commentary

Both Edina teams seem to be blazing a trail in rinks all over the Metro. Number 2 Edina White's loss was by a goal to Edina Green. No other team has really emerged, yet. District 8 and District 3 have some teams that are winning a lot. Way too early to tell who will emerge.
