John Knowles broke a scoreless tie six minutes into the middle period, taking the puck on a breakaway and crashing it through Moorhead Black goaltender Oliver Judd. Ten other members of Edina Green notched a point in a four-goal scoring outburst in third period for the Hornets who repeat as Peewee B champions following a 5-1 win over Moorhead Black.

Wyatt Schmitz sparked the third period eruption with a shorthanded goal for the Edina Green 39 seconds into the final period. Ethan Deal, Ryan Sever and Colin Dorsey all buried the puck for the Hornets, while Jack Arnold scored the lone goal for the Spuds.

Edina Green's Alex Savage made 16 saves in net, while Oliver Judd stopped 29 shots for Moorhead Black.
