Edina avenged their loss to Andover in last year's state tourney final beat the Huskies 2-1 in an excited overtime thriller. Shae Messner tipped in a shot from Maddie Morgan to lift the Hornets to the state championship Sunday in Cloquet. 

Andover got on the board first when Maddie Kaiser cleaned up a rebound in front to give the defending state champs a 1-0 lead heading into the final period. Edina got the equalizer early in the third period and the game was back and forth in regulation and in overtime.
