2016-2017 Record: 25-5-1

The Cadets are one of the best teams in the state at turning hockey games into track meets, and you’d be well-advised not to join the race.

The best-dressed state tournament attendees have the horses again this season to operate a fast break system that most teams cannot keep up with, led by Division I commits in senior Ray Christy (17-30-47) and younger brother junior Rob Christy (17-23-40). The brothers have both committed to Colorado College.

Joining the fraternal duo is senior forward Payton Matsui (21-14-35) and junior forward Brendan McFadden (12-18-30), giving the Cadets four viable 20-goal options on offense.

The graduation-losses of Willie Reim (Air Force) and Columbus Blue Jacket draft pick Robbie Stucker (Colorado College) hurt, but senior Chase Foley (9-20-29) should help stabilize the defense with a move to the blue line after playing both forward and defense last season.

Ray Christy will be one of the offensive catalysts for the Cadets this season.
