Tonka & Maple Grove PeeWees play in Finals, just like Bantams last Sunday

It's not often Yogi Berra quotes get used on our site, but when the shoe fits....put it on.

After two days of the Velocity 3v3 tourney in Eden Prairie, YHH is having flashbacks of the two teams that made the finals, Minnetonka and Maple Grove. Don't be fooled, the opponents have the same name and same jerseys, the favorites to win are in reverse. Last week, MInnetonka was the favorite against Maple Grove and lost. This week, Maple Grove will be the favorite. The Crimson and Skippers are both undefeated and have clinched a spot in the Championship Sunday.

Why Tonka Wins

The Skippers have a major size advantage over the younger Crimson. If they can capitalize on their opportunities in front of the net, they will pull the upset.

Why Maple Grove Wins

They will win because YHH picked them to win. Okay, seriously, the Crimson move the puck well, shoot the puck with precision and have played great defense the whole weekend. If that continues, they will win.
