United AAA Hockey sent a peewee hockey team to Europe, specifically to Italy and Switzerland.  The tour took place July 25 - August 3, 2014 and featured travel to Northern Italy and Switzerland.  The team consisted of 14 players from Twin City area based AAA teams.

50 total people went on the excursion from the Twin Cities which was a 10 day tour to Northern Italy and Switzerland. The group visited Aosta, Asiago, Bellagio, Bassano Del Grappa, Lake Como, Milan and Venice Italy.

On the ice, the United AAA Hockey team went 4-0...showing how good the Minnesota brand of hockey can be. The United All-Stars beat Aosta Gladiators 7- 0 and 5-3 for a great day of hockey in the Italian Alps.  Then the  team travelled to the Dolomite region and beat both Team Asiago and  Roana All-Stars 5-3.

Team members were brothers Trent Stansberry and Kai Stansberry, Tyler Barry, Jake Johnson, Owen Davis, Toran Dobchuk, Billy Kozlak, Jake Schneider, Mason Moore, Sam Fellows, Aidan Potas, Drew Demarin and Ethan Jourdain.  The team was coached by United Owner Tim Hawkinson.

It was a trip of a lifetime for all the players and families.  A little hockey and a lot of great memories.  YHH expects there be many more of these types of trips in the coming years from AAA organizations.
