On Tuesday, Sport Ngin released a new set of features called team management. The new features of team management are great new tools designed to help coaches and team managers communicate with their team via text, email, and in app messages. The new features allow teams to communicate instantly with their team (athletes & parents) as well as add events and track RSVPs to each team event, all from an easy to use mobile application. 

YHH got a demo on Tuesday at the Sport Ngin office in Minneapolis, Steve Tran from Sport Ngin had this to say about team management, "we're proud to work with so many hockey associations in Minnesota. By releasing these all new team management features in time for the upcoming season, at no cost for coaches, we know that it's going to make a huge difference for every coach, on every team, of every association who uses Sport Ngin." 

Team Texting

Every youth coach or team manager at some point has a way of communicating to their team. Some do group texts or even email to remind their team of events or changes in the schedule. Team Management eliminates this hassle for the admin of the team. Parents simply choose how they want to receive their message (text, email, both) and when a message is sent they know everyone will have it instantly.

By giving team members the power to RSVP to scheduled events, practices or games right from their phones (or any other device), coaches eliminate hours of back-and-forth with one look at their team’s availability screen in Team Center.
