Any big fan of high school hockey in Minnesota knows about where their team stacks up in their section. Whether it be common opponents, rankings or head to head competition. Hats off to most coaches these days, they try to schedule as many section seeding games prior to the season to alleviate discomfort at their annual seeding meeting at the end of the season.
Most fans know their section and maybe the one down the road. As a service to our readers, we built a section by section account of each AA and A section and we took the liberty of seeding the top 4 seeds in each.
As the season slowly finds its stride, so will the section seeding games. Out of conference Eden Prairie and Prior Lake threw down the gauntlet on the first game (likely a battle for 1 and 2 in Section 2AA). So did Jefferson and East Ridge in their first game.
As game scores pour in, we will update the page send a message via our Twitter feed (@YouthHockeyHub) each time the page is updated.
