Colorado Kodiaks 9, MN Magicians 1

Colorado steamrolled past the Magicians with the helping hand of a few Minnesota players. Edina's Evan Pahos and Marc Lund each had a Hatty for the Kodiaks as they scored their first win of the Meltdown 9-1. The Kodiaks have a talented group that will get better as the weekend moves on.

Thunder Bay Bandits 3, MN Mavericks 1

The Bandits got off the scoring schneid Friday night getting three goals from three separate Bandits' en route to a 3-1 win over the snakebitten Mavericks at Richfield Ice Arena. 


Jake Peterson scores for Tommy's Friday

Hometown Hockey 4, Rapid Fire Black 2

Four players scored in the win for Hometown Hockey, with Carter Ashworth, Weston Knox, Owen Erickson and Noah Martin marking the scoresheet. 

Carter Rother and Lucky Bischoff scored for Rapid Fire Black. 

Tommy Chicago Green 8, Red Army 4

Owen Hendrickson notched a Hatty to lead Tommy Chicago Green, and Max Nagel, Hunter Webster, Zander Billins, Zach Sweitzer,

Seth Aaker scored two goals for Red Army, and Ben Spanier and Trevor Olderbak each scored once. 

Steeldogs 3, Duluth East 2

Henry Murray scored twice for Duluth East before Steeldogs scored three unanswered goals to win the game. 

Gavin Greeder, Tyler Bishop and Ty Tucitto scored for Steeldogs. 

Euro American Red 4, Colorado Kodiaks 2

Josh Giuliani scored twice to lead Euro American to the win. Wyatt Olson and Casey Laylin also added goals for EAR. 

Nick Bower and Ryan Kaiser scored for the Kodiaks.

Duluth East 6, Colorado Kodiaks 6

Five players tallied goals for Duluth East, with Wyatt Peterson leading the way with two. Tucker D'Allaird, Grady Downs, Thomas Gunderson and Griffin Kinney all scored once for the Hounds. 

Colorado's Luke Shelter scored four goals for a Texas Hatty, while Nick Bower and Chase Coisman scored one goal each for the Kodiaks. 

Rapid Fire Black 2, Red Army 2

Rapid Fire Black got a goal from Lucky Bischoff late in the this period to salvage a tie with Red Army. Chase Sams scored the other goal for Rapid Fire Black. 

Ashton Collings and Skyler Syveron scored for Red Army in the tie. 


Owen Sudenga scores for the Magicians Friday

Magicians Red 8, Colorado Kodiaks 7

In one of the best games played in any division so far, the Magicians edged the Kodiaks in Brooklyn Park. 

Owen Sedunga recorded a Hatty for the Magicians, who also got two goals from Patrick Kroski. All of Sedunga's and Kroski's goals came in the third period. 

Charlie Rice, Gavin Brink and Max Anderson each scored one goal apiece for the Magicians. 

Aidan Radic led the Kodiaks with two goals.


Drew Jones scores for the Kodiaks Friday

Red Army 12, Precision (IL) 2

A game that looked close early soon got out of hand, Red Army stormed to a victory. 

Alex Gelhar picked up the Hatty for Red Army, with Zach Skarperud, Landon Dauner and Aidan Willis all chipping two scores. 

Colton Getzlaff, Grady Magner and Noah Mehus each scored once for Red Army. 

Alex Pavelkis and Josh Williams scored for Precision (IL).
