Scott Reedy lead Maroon to championship Friday
The final day of the 2016 Model Camp was played out in fifth place, third place and championship games, with each contest adding its own drop of drama.
Model Camp was also an effective tool in gauging who would be chosen for this fall season’s Upper Midwest High School Elite League, with numerous players suiting up for both groups.
The conclusion of the camp signals the near end of the summer development season, as players begin to migrate back to their respective association teams.

Xander Lamppa, Rochester John Marshall
Great hands combined with a confident skating stride make Lamppa a threat every time down the ice.
Mike Vorlicky, Edina
Stepping onto the blue line for the Hornets this year will be Vorlicky, a sophomore who displays good ice vision and effective physical play.
Ray and Rob Christy, St. Thomas Academy
The Christy brothers have the same characteristics that make them good players. Soft hands, quick releases and relentless drive.
Hunter Johannes, Eden Prairie
A dominating physical force - seems to have a lot of puck possession no matter level he plays...the kind of player that must be dealt with defensively on every shift.
Brady Ziemer, Holy Family Cathoilc
Smooth-skating defenseman is a breakout expert. Creates plays very well on the rush.
Ryan Lesko, Eden Prairie
A balanced sniper, Lesko cannot be left alone on the ice. Very dangerous one-on-one.
