Bruins' Shane LaVelle scores Monday to add to his league high in points

Shane Griffin scored the lone goal for the Flyers Monday

After falling twice Saturday, the Bruins bounced back with a convincing 4-1 win over the Flyers Monday in Bloomington. The B's were lead by Rosemount's Mitchell Kohner who had a goal and an assist...but was more impressive away from the scoresheet stirring up trouble for the Flyers all night all over the ice. The 2002 birth year stand out was physical and effective all night long.

The Bruins got goals from Prior Lake boys Sam Emmerich and Nick Speltz in the first, followed by a goal by Kohner and a goal by league leader Shane LaVelle who got credit for a shot that deflected off of his shin pad.

The Kings beat the Penguins for the second time in eight days, this time in the single largest win in the league's short history 10-2.  Luc Laylin had two goals and two assists to the lead the Kings who have rattled off four straight wins by a total of 24-9. Fielding two juggernaut lines with forwards Laylin, St. Cloud commit Garrett Pinoniemi, John Mittelstadt, Bobby Brink and the Braccini twins Jake and Tyler, the Kings are a tough matchup for the league to stop.

On Monday it was all Kings, they got out to 5-1 halftime lead with the dagger coming with 7 seconds to go in the half when Laylin flushed home a loose puck in front. The Kings will face the Flyers for the first time on Wednesday night in the league and the Penguins will try to bounce back when they face the Bruins.
