Top players named, plus short highlight video from Moorhead

Sawyer Skanson, OMG

Austin Brauns, Andover

FORWARD

Jackson Blake, Eden Prairie - had 15 points in four games for Eagles. Is the hardest player to stop in the state.

Max Plante, Hermantown - was a dynamic player despite being undersized and underage (Max is Squirt eligible)...had 9 points.

Sawyer Skanson, Osseo Maple Grove - a power forward's forward....who was relentless to the puck. Created a lot of opportunities for his team.

DEFENSE

Cashen Naeve, Wayzata - a player with a physical presence on the blue line that had a goal and six assists.

Henry Whitleff, Edina - had a great tournament for the Hornets, was a calming influence on the back end, especially breaking the puck out in tight spots.

GOALIE

Austin Brauns, Andover - the Huskies only gave up two goals all weekend. Brauns could be a big reason for their success down the road.

MVP

William Matzke, Osseo Maple Grove - his hard work sometimes over shadows his high level of skill. Had periods of time where he took over the game in the semifinals and finals. Plays with passion on every shift.
