Hermantown soared to victory in the SQA finals, turning a tense 4-2 lead into a 7-2 win over Woodbury on Sunday.
Ben Miller gave Woodbury a 1-0 lead in the first period, a lead that was answered by Hermantown's Weston Bohlman and his two goals to end the first with the Hawks ahead just 2-1.
The second period was a near-perfect replica of the first, with Woodbury scoring early and Hermantown answering with two goals from a single player. This time it was Tanner Zoldonsky scoring for the Predators, and Holden Evjen netting back-to-back goals for the Hawks.
Third period, 4-2 Hawks, and the Predators threatening on every rush.
Enter the Hermantown line of Bohlman, Evjen and Dallas Vieu. Evjen completed his Hatty for the Hawks at the 9:24 mark of the period, and Vieu added two goals to make the Hawks' lead insurmountable. For his efforts, Vieu was named Tourney MVP of the SQA division, recording seven goals and nine points in the tournament.
Remarkably, every player for Hermantown recorded at least one point during the Squirtacular, with six players totaling five or more points.

The Phoenix Jr. Coyotes burst out of the gates with three goals in the first period of the SQB championship against Stillwater and manage to hold off the galloping Ponies to claim the title.
The Coyotes' lead was spurred by Brady Turner, Tate Mickey and Max Edwards, who all tallied goals in the first 6:18 of the first period period.
Luke Geisbauer put the Ponies on the board in the second, and Chase Yocum pulled the Ponies within one early in the third before Isaac Nelson cemented the win for the Coyotes with a shorthanded wrister from the point. Gesibauer finished the tournament with eight goal and 14 points, good for second in the SQB division.
Max Edwards was named Tourney Most Valuable Player after totaling seven goals and 10 points for the Jr. Coyotes.
