Will Lundstrom pulled Brainerd to within one Tuesday in the Warriors comeback at home.
Matt Fischer scored the game winning goal in overtime to lift Brainerd to a 5-4 comeback win over Bemidji. The Warriors ended the Lumberjacks' season defeating them in overtime for the third consecutive time this year. Brainerd will take on section number one seed Moorhead Saturday in Moorhead.
Bemidji got off to a fast start, grabbing a 3-0 lead early in the second period when senior Alex Pollack scored short handed on a breakaway. But the Warriors would answer with two late goals in the second on goals by Fischer and senior Nick Karsnia.
Bemidji's Chase Hartje scored what appeared to be the clincher with 6:24 to go in the game on a pretty wrist shot from the point to give the Jacks a 4-2 cushion. But that was the last time they'd score this year. Brainerd answered with two goals in a 30 second span to tie the game and send the teams into their third extra session of the season.

Fischer's game winner snuck past Matt Fitzgerald on a face off play that sent the crowd at Essentia Health Civic Center into a frenzy. A frenzy that caught the ire of a few Bemidji players which triggered a few post game extra curricular activities.
