Separation Saturday

As per the traditional tournament format, Saturday evening is where the teams separate into the bracket form of competition.

In the 2003 Invite division, Gradient AAA thumped Magicians AAA 8-1, while the Colorado Kodiaks took care of the '04 MN Blades 4-1. Gradient and the Kodiaks will square off on Sunday at 3 p.m. for the title.

Southeast Elite took the top seed in the 2004 division, and will face Miracle Gold in the semifinals. Steeldogs Teal takes on Tommy Chicago Green in the other semifinal.

Velocity White pulled off the upset in the 2005 division semifinals, edging top-seeded Steeldogs teal 4-2. Velocity will take on Red Army in the finals after Red Army posted a 2-1 win over Tommy Chicago Green.

It's a golden finale in the 2006 division, as Gentry Astros Gold battles Miracle Gold in the finals. Gentry snuck past the Colorado Kodiaks 4-3, and Miracle Gold upended the top seed in Steeldogs Teal 2-0 for a chance at the crown.

Joe Rice scores on Saturday for the 2005 Magicians.

Southeast Elite's Gavin Brindley goes backhand for a goal on Saturday.
