Michael Hage and Co. embrace Ontario goaltender Paolo Frasca after the final horn.
It's a tired phrase, but The Show saved its best for last.
Coincidentally, so did Michael Hage.
The Ontario center swooped, sashayed and sprinted past West defenders for three periods, channeling his his all-time favorite player Maurice Richard and culminating his performance with the game-winning goal with just six seconds to play in regulation to lift Ontario to a 6-5 victory.
Hage, named as Canada's tournament Most Valuable Player, finished the game with a Hatty and a helper, running his Show totals to 10 goals and 19 points.
Not to be outdone, Liam Greentreee fed Hage the pass that sprung his break a mere 25 seconds after tying the game with the Ontario net empty.
Anthony Cristofaro and Beckett Sennecke also tallied goals for Ontario, which saw seven players record 11 points or more through 10 games. Lucas Karmiris totaled three assists in the win.
Team West's Egor Barabanov turned in his best game of the tournament in the final, netting a Hatty and pestering the Ontario defense for the game's entirety.
Speedster Aidan Yi also scored for West, as did U.S. MVP Tyler Chiovetti.
