Minneapolis Southwest took home the hardware in the Girls Division last August.
For a few days in mid-September, veterans of the Minnesota high school hockey scene can relive memories from years past at Bloomington Ice Garden.
The Peewee Challenge, with four divisions this season, features uniforms derived from teams and schools that do not exist anymore, adding a dash of nostalgia to an already exciting field of players and teams.
Resurrected teams this year include Duluth Central, Kellogg, Minneapolis West, Williams and White Bear Mariner, with the squads competing from September 15th to the 17th.
