Potter's Pumpkins Prevail In Finals

Buoyed by a stretch of the game where they scored eight consecutive goals, Potter's Pumpkins cruised to a 19-10 win over the MPH '07's in the finals of the sixth annual Spooktacular, held at The Pond three-on-three facility in Rosemount.

That burst allowed the Pumpkins to take a 12-4 lead over the '07's, a lead that they refused to relinquish for the remainder of the game.

Most Valuable Player Mason Jenson led the Pumpkins with five goals, followed by Dylan Otten and Henri Ament, who each finished the game with four tallies. Jenson paced the entire division with 36 goals, with Christian Garrity of the 2025's coming in second with 30 scores.

Hat Trick-or-Treat emerged with the Advanced Mite title with a 20-18 win over the Scream Team, as Anthony Timmerman led the charge with four goals.

The Intermediate Mite crown went to the Cool Ghouls with a 14-8 win over the Minnesota Wave, and the Beginner Mite hardware was awarded the Minnesota Wave with an 8-3 win over the Wildcats.

With another successful tournament in the books, The Pond's next event is the highly-anticipated New Year's Challenge, which will run from Dec. 26-Jan. 1st.
