The Gobbler: PWB Friday Recap

Peewee Gobbler Kicks Off

The Peewee level of The Gobbler commenced on Friday morning, as Edina made its mark with both of its PWB teams. Edina White thumped Eastview 5-1 behind a hatty by Bobby Cowan while Edina Green crushed past Woodbury 6-1 in the next game. The hatty trend continued for the Hornets as Max Vonklinggraeff recorded one of his own for Edina Green. 

Moorhead Black and Chaska-Chanhassen earned victories in the next pair of games, with the Spuds downed Rosemount Blue 6-1 and the Stormhawks slipped past Mahtomedi 5-3. Six different players scored for the Spuds, while Alexander Jensen led Chaska-Chanhassen to its win with a pair of goals. 

St. Michael-Albertville blanked Minnetonka 3-0, and Lakeville North completed a come-from-behind win over Bloomington Jefferson. After going down 3-1 early in the second, the Panthers erupted for six goals, all from different players, to earn the 7-3 win. 
Prior Lake Navy slipped past Champlin Park 4-2 and Osseo-Maple Grove edged Eden Prairie 3-1 to close out the day.
