Minnetonka shoots up the rankings with a nice tourney win over District rival Prior Lake in White Bear Lake. The Skippers have a lot of weapons. Yesterday, Grant Doctor showed amazing skill and why the Skippers could contend for a top 3 seed to Regionals. Kudos to Prior Lake, their Pirhanna Line of Whittier, Green and Kashmark also give the Lakers a reason to believe for a top three seed as well. Andover is also playing really well despite not being in the T10, they will be a team to contend with down the stretch.

Armstrong Cooper had about as good a week a PeeWee A team could have by beating Minneapolis in District 3 play and making it to the Championship of their home tournament, only to lose to Mahtomedi. Both teams made a surge this week in our Staff Rankings as a result. Alexandria sits atop the Rankings as the state's top PWA team.
