These two outstate schools hope to make some noise in Section 8AA, and this will be an opportunity to make a statement early in the 2022-2023 season.  

The Rams are led at forward by sophomores Payton Remick (5 goals, 1 assist, 6 points) and Lily Erickson (2-1-3), as well as freshman Jasmine Hovda (3-0-3). On defense, sophomores Kylie Bjerk (0-2-2) and Summer Byfuglien (0-1-1) will do what they can to slow down Alexandria's offense. At goaltender, the Rams have split starts between eighth-grader Madalyn Lisell and junior Jade Pelowski (.978 SV%).  

Alexandria's attack is led by senior Lauren Maras (1-1-2) and sophomores Morgan Aure (2-0-2) and Kennedy Ellingson (0-2-2). On defense, senior Aubrie Porter (1-0-0) and junior Kylie Lattimer (0-1-1) will log big minutes and bring experience to the Cardinals' blueline. Sophomore goaltender Rachael Mohr (2.36 goals against average) will likely get the start against the Rams.
