Tough week for Bantam AA top ten teams (and the guy ranking them). Four teams lose to non-T10 teams and another gets thumped in their first game against a team inside the rankings.
On the positive side, Moorhead rebounds with three quality wins and Rogers does well with a 2-0-1 record.

The first is that the Ponies knocked off the previous sixth-ranked Duluth East. The second is that the Ponies won the Glen Avon tournament up in Duluth. The Ponies claim our No. 10 spot in the top ten this week.

It is an aberration (def: a departure from what is normal, usual, or expected) for a team to go from outside the top-10 to top-5. But White Bear did it. The Bears beat three T10 teams (OMG, STW, MAHT) to win the Lumberjack Cup. Since November 11, they have gone 11-1-2.
Another team getting close to a T10 appearance...Eden Prairie. The Eagles had two T10 wins last week (Edina, Hermantown).

Roseville is new to the rankings this week; the Raiders debut as No. 5 after a huge Lumberjack tournament win the last weekend. Litchfield/Dassel/Cokato Navy finally gets noticed for their undefeated record, as it pushes them into the top ten this week.

It's still a little early to make solid rankings...but things are starting to come together. Edina Green bursts onto the scene with a home tourney win over some really good teams. Blaine beats Andover to muddle the picture in District 10 a bit. Austin remains a mystery in southern Minnesota and the Packers have double digit wins.
The Eden Prairie tourney this weekend will further sort things out for us. No. 1 Woodbury will get tested in pool play by a very good EP team and an undefeated Roseville squad. The other pool is load as well with Minnetonka and Edina Green!
