Woodbury at Stillwater (Dec. 15, 7:00 PM)

Tomas Anderson, Stillwater

This is an interesting Suburban East Conference battle before the holidays. Woodbury was swept by the Ponies last season. Will the Royals get their revenge this time around?

Woodbury hopes to build momentum after a 5-3 loss to Park/Cottage Grove on Saturday. The Royals are led at forward by senior Ethan Hansen (5-3-8) as well as sophomores Aiden Grossklaus (2-4-6) and Tommy Dittrich (1-3-4). Woodbury has decent scoring balance through its top two lines.

On defense, junior Max Belak (0-2-2) and seniors J.J. Minor (1-0-1) and Cole Shaback (1-0-1) keep it simple on their end of the ice.

Senior goaltender Kam Carlson (.875 save percentage) has carried all of the workload between the pipes for Woodbury this season.

Stillwater is coming off a 3-2 victory over Park/Cottage Grove on Thursday. The Ponies' attack is led by a pair of 6'3" forwards in senior Ty Tuccitto (5-2-7) and sophomore Blake Vanek (2-2-4).

On the blueline, Stillwater looks to 6'2" juniors Wyatt Carroll (1-2-3) and Nathan Harvey, as well as seniors Daniel Roeske (1-2-3) and Matthew Marah (0-2-2) contribute at both ends of the ice.

Senior goaltender Tomas Anderson (.929 save percentage) brings an NHL-sized frame (6'3", 225lbs) to the crease for the Ponies.
