The St. Paul Capitals make a push into the top three this week. The Capitals are on a 13-game win streak. Hibbing/Chisholm is up two spots to number four, and deservedly so; the Bluejackets haven’t lost since Halloween day. Northfield is another team that is on the rise this week; the Raiders are undefeated and up to number five with eight wins in December.

No. 1 and No. 2 faceoff this next week the spotlight is on Edina White and Bloomington Jefferson this Thursday The winner of that game will claim the top spot in our rankings; the Jaguars already beat the Hornets once. Edina Green is a big mover in this shakeup: the Hornets are up three spots to number four; a big reason was that teams lost above them, as well as tying number one Bloomington Jefferson. With Edina Greens’ move into the fourth spot, that means the top four are district six teams. In more District 6 news, number two Edina White beat number three Prior Lake. This week, the teams that were added to the rankings include Forest Lake, Armstrong Cooper, Woodbury Black, and Minnetonka.

The top five stay the same. The next five all were hung with at least one L. The other four have some slide in the rankings.
Hermantown makes the biggest surge from #10 to #7. The Hawks have won seven of their last 10.
Despite being below .500, Lakeville North has three top-10 wins this year.

Due to the light week schedule around the holidays this year for Peewee A, no movement in the top ten is the result. The top 10 teams that lost last week were PWAA teams.
Peewee A is a mess this week as a lot of top-ten teams lose with their eyes set on winter break and Christmas. Roseville is welcomed back to the top spot this week, benefiting from a Woodbury loss this week and the Raiders taking care of business. Mound Westonka is having a season to remember. The Whitehawks move up three spots to number five; they have won or tied the last 11 of their 13 games. Waconia is a new addition to the rankings; the Wildcats debut at number seven after just recently winning the Duluth tournament. Some non-metro teams are new and close out our rankings this week. Number nine is the Albert Lea Tigers, and number ten is the Detroit Lakes Lakers.

There was not a loss out of the new top ten this week in Peewee B, which caused the minimal movement. The top six stay the exact same as nobody moves up or down. The Litchfield Dassel Cokato Navy Dragons are up two spots this week to number eight- the Dragons are breathing fire as they haven’t lost a game all year. Lakeville North and Shakopee are both new this week in the top ten. Number nine is the Lakeville North Panthers, a solid seven-game win streak. The Shakopee Sabers beat a fringe top-ten team, Eden Prairie, this past Monday, stealing their potential spot in the rankings for this week.

Only one loss in the entire top-10 this week and it came at the hands of the top ranked team. No. 1 Woodbury beat No. 3 Edina 9-4 to claim the Eden Prairie tourney title.
A no movement week, doesn't mean we didn't see some other teams making their mark. Two northern teams Grand Rapids and Cloquet are undefeated with some nice wins including a Grand Rapids win over Eden Prairie and a Cloquet win over Jefferson.

The top ten remain the same in Squirt B, but there is a lot more data in the system. The current top ten doesn’t lose, so there is no reason to shake the rankings up. When district play begins here soon, there will be some losses and movement. Number Three Grand Rapids (White) won the Thief River Falls tournament this past weekend.
