Centennial is coming off a 6-5 overtime victory against Roseau. The Cougars are an experienced, senior-laden team. On defense, senior Sam Menne (0-6-6) and junior Austin Petersen (1-4-5) log many minutes for Centennial and help the Cougars' transition from defense to offense quickly.

Centennial has leaned on junior goaltender Gavin Schahn (.872 save percentage) most of the season.
