Wyatt Carlson, Hermantown

Hermantown is coming off an 8-1 demolition of Duluth Marshall. The Hawks are without talented senior forward Kade Kohanski due to injury, which will test Hermantown's depth. Juniors Dallas Vieau (4-2-6), Evan Gunderson (1-4-5), and Josh Kauppinen (5-0-0), as well as senior Wyatt Carlson (1-4-5), will be asked to shoulder more of the scoring load.

Senior George Peterson (1-6-7) and junior Will Esterbrooks (2-2-4) are a terrific two-way defense pair on the blueline. Hermantown is killing penalties at a 91.7% rate.

Hermantown has split starts between junior Dane Callaway (.850 save percentage) and senior Garron Opsahl (.909 save percentage) this season.

Orono is coming off a 3-2 victory over Waconia. The Trojans forward group is led by seniors Avery Anderson (4-11-15), Bradley Walker (5-5-10), and junior Easton Sankey (2-4-6), but Orono gets scoring throughout its lineup. Orono's power play is clicking at a 29% rate.

On defense, juniors Joey Mugaas (0-8-8), John Engebretson (1-6-7), and Rylan Schultz (1-1-2) do a great job of limiting scoring chances while also helping keep Orono on the attack.

6'3" senior goaltender Johnny DeLong (2.13 goals against average) has been the Trojans' workhorse between the pipes.
