This Section 8AA showdown between Alexandria and St. Cloud has seeding ramifications as they face off for the first of two regular-season meetings this year.  

Alexandria is coming off a hard-fought 2-0 loss to Orono. The Cardinals' attack is led by senior Lauren Maras (5-8-13), sophomore Julia Doherty (3-6-9), and freshman Lillian Dutton (3-3-6). 

On defense, sophomore Emma Ramstorf (5-3-8), senior Aubrie Porter (1-4-5), and junior Kylie Lattimer (1-2-3) help chip in at both ends of the ice, which is essential as Alexandria only averages about 2.58 goals per game. 

At goaltender, the Cardinals have rotated between sophomores Hunter Sellnow (.916 save percentage, 2 shutouts) and Rachael Mohr (.903 save percentage, 1 shutout) this season. 

St. Cloud is coming off a 3-2 victory over Minot (N.D.). The Crush is led at forward by senior Ava Schmidt (Endicott College commit, 6-9-15), junior Lauren Juncewski (7-9-16), and freshman Liz Bell (5-5-10), who help carry St. Cloud offensively. 

On defense, juniors Tatum O'Neal (0-4-4) and Kylie Smith (0-3-3), as well as sophomore Teagan Ruprecht (2-4-6), keep it simple, and it should make for a close game against Alexandria.  

At goaltender, junior Abby Stevens (.881 save percentage) has been the starter for the Crush all season long.
