The top-ranked Warroad team fell 2-1 against Edina last week. How will the third-ranked team in Class A do against the Hornets this week?

Proctor/Hermantown is coming off a 3-1 victory over Chisago Lakes. The Mirage is led up front by juniors Izy Fairchild (Bemidji State commit, 9-6-15), Hannah Graves (9-16-25), and Hailey Jussila (3-13-16). Senior captain Reese Heitzmann (12-9-21) and sophomore Jane Eckstrom (7-8-15) also help pace Proctor/Hermantown offensively.

On defense, seniors Nya Sieger (4-8-12), Ava Anick (3-8-11), and Sophie Parendo (2-6-8) help the Mirage control the pace of play and chip in at both ends of the ice.

At goaltender, freshman Suri Langley (1.25 goals against average, 3 shutouts) has carried the majority of the workload. Still, they have utilized sophomore Neelah McLeod (.912 save percentage) as well.

Edina is coming off 3-0 victory against Lake Conference arch-rival Minnetonka. The Hornets are led by junior Hannah Halvorson (Wisconsin commit, 9-13-22), sophomore Whitney Horton (8-17-25), and senior Ellie Chapman (5-8-13). Freshman Lorelai Nelson's (11-10-21) strong season continues. Edina's power play is very effective, finding the back of the net at a 30.6% rate.

Defensively, seniors Lauren Zawoyski (Minnesota State commit, 4-5-9) and Sami Hankinson (2-3-5), as well as sophomore Tori Anderson (3-7-10), have demonstrated an ability to neutralize just about any opponent and they help contribute in the offensive zone as well.

Senior goaltender Uma Corniea (Princeton commit, 1.20 goals against average, 4 shutouts) gives the Hornets a chance to win every night.
