This is always a spirited match-up whenever Fergus Falls faces off against Sartell-St. Stephen in a Central Lakes Conference clash.

The Sabres prevailed in their first game against the Otters, a 4-1 victory in early December. Can Sartell-St. Stephen pull off the sweep?

Fergus Falls is coming off a 4-3 victory over Red Lake Falls. The Otters are led at forward by juniors Kellen Stenstrom (14-13-27) and Shane Zierden (5-5-10), as well as sophomore Jack Welde (4-4-8) and senior Joey Johnson (4-1-5). They embrace more of a score-by-committee approach, and this has worked fairly well for Fergus Falls so far.

On defense, seniors Colin Becker (3-7-10) and Ethan McGuiness (1-5-6) log many minutes for the Otters and provide a source of stability for the team.

Senior Ben Swanson (.907 save percentage) has carried most of the goaltending duties for Fergus Falls this season.

Sartell-St. Stephen is coming off a 2-2 tie against Alexandria. The Sabres attack is led by juniors Anthony Colatrella (12-15-27) and Baylor Stebbins (12-13-25). Seniors Elliot Testa (9-15-24), Jack Schmitz (7-4-11), and Nolan Smith (6-7-13) add additional scoring options to Sartell-St. Stephen's offense.

On defense, senior Sterling McCabe (1-10-11), as well as juniors Carter Bollinger (1-7-8) and Connor Anderson (0-4-4), keep it simple on the back end and work pucks up to the forwards to keep Sartell-St. Stephen on the attack.

Junior Noah Hacker (.913 save percentage) has carried all of the goaltending workload for the Sabres this season.
