All top seeds advance. Stillwater gets Edina. Earlier in the year, the Ponies beat Edina 11-0.  I'm fairly certain Saturday's game won't be a blow out. Slight advantage to the Red and Black. Lakeville South will be too much for OMG on Saturday.

EP cruises past Rochester. Anoka scores four unanswered and comes back to beat Centennial 4-3 at Plymouth. White Bear sneaks past St. Cloud and Prior Lake moves on. Anoka will have to play it's best to beat EP...toss up game between WBL and Prior Lake. 

Biggest upset of the day came when Bemidji knocked off Grand Rapids 4-1...the top ranked northern team is going to need 4 straight through the Loser's Bracket to make it to state. Hibbing wins in OT over Roseau...D11 takes care of business, both Duluth East and Hermantown win. I like Hermantown over Bemidji and Hibbing over Duluth East up in Moorhead.

The Elks cruise into semfinals and take on Woodbury who beat slightly favored STMA in the first round.  Last year, STMA fought their way to state after losing in the first round to LVS...if any team is capable, it is STMA. A battle for Lake Minnetonka will be a good one, Wayzata (north lake) takes on Tonka (south lake) after both won first round games...Wayzata should advance as should the Elks when they take on Woodbury.
