Blaine in a small surprise over D10 rival Elk River in OT. Ethan Scheibe with the GWG for the Bengals. Tonka, Roseville and Sibley advance to a nasty set of semis in Anoka. Tonka and Sibley should advance but don't count out either Blaine or Roseville. Nik Norman was nearly unstoppable tonight for Roseville. 

Edina and Prior Lake win easy. Wayzata struggles with pesky Champlin Park. And Minneapolis with a slight surprise over Andover. Their prize for victory? A date with Edina at the MAC. YHH likes the D6 teams Prior Lake and Edina on Saturday. 

Some would argue that this will be the best Regional of them all, next to the American 12A regional (1-6 in state for the Girls). 5 top teams vying for two coveted spots to Thief River. Cloquet gets past Brainerd..the Warriors have a long road back. Moohead, Roseau, and Duluth East advance.  YHH likes Cloquet and Moorhead in the finals on Sunday. The loser Sunday is going to face a really hot team who has won 3 straight...likely one of the best play-in games out there.

Chaska escapes when Bobby Brink scores in OT to beat Jefferson 1-0. Rochester and OMG advance. Eagan beats Rosemount in OT, too. An exciting day at Hasse. More excitement tomorrow when Rochester faces Eagan in a matchup of two very big and very fast teams. OMG faces CC in a battle of speed and depth. YHH likes CC and Rochester in these two great semifinal games.
