This is an intriguing inner-ring suburban Class AA matchup as the Super Wings take on the Stars.

Robbinsdale Armstrong/Cooper is coming off a 4-3 loss to Anoka. The Wings are led at forward by juniors Jameson Essen (16-13-29), Tanner Rausch (14-13-27), and Charlie Goergen (10-9-19), as well as senior Max Burns (7-11-18), carry the majority of the scoring load for Robbinsdale Armstrong/Cooper. Sophomore Lewis Majkozak (4-12-16) can absolutely scoot, and is a classic waterbug player.

On defense, senior Cole Majkozak (1-12-13), Sam Burns (3-5-8), and sophomore Logan Gatti (1-5-6) keep it simple, but when given time, they can make a decent outlet pass to get the Wings back on the attack.

Senior Henry Dimich (.852 save percentage) has shouldered the majority of the goaltending duties for Robbinsdale Armstrong/Cooper this season, but they have given fellow senior Ben Smith (.872, 1 shutout) some opportunities as well.

Holy Angels is coming off a 4-2 victory over Blake. A youthful Stars squad is led at forward by senior Charlie Cline (10-7-17) as well as 6'2" sophomore Henry Lechner (19-26-45) and freshmen Cole Cheeseman (12-16-28), and Lincoln Ayers Assad (9-10-19) give Holy Angels a nice mix of snipers and playmakers up front.

Senior defenseman Jack Bartfield (16-17-33), 6'2" sophomore Connor Hanley (2-9-11), and freshman Gabe Perron (1-25-26) are an active group of blueliners that like to be involved in the play at both ends of the ice.

This mix of offensive weapons up front and on the back end has made Holy Angels power play rather dangerous, lighting the lamp at a 33.8% rate.

6'3" sophomore Luke Marsalek (.885 save percentage, 1 shutout) has shouldered all of the goaltending duties for Holy Angels this season.
