Stillwater at Gentry Academy (Jan. 31, 7:00 PM)

Gentry Academy defeated Stillwater 5-3 on December 29th. Can the Stars do that again to solidify their place in the Section 4AA seedings?  

Stillwater is coming off an 8-3 victory over White Bear Lake during Hockey Day Minnesota. The Ponies' attack is led by junior Josie St. Martin (Ohio State commit, 20 goals, 25 assists, 45 points), Myah Krueger (13-18-31), and Brooke Nelson (16-14-30), who had a hat trick against White Bear Lake have the speed and skill to put opponents on their heels. The Ponies' power play has been hot lately, finding the back of the net at a 29.3% rate.

On defense, senior Kylie Ligday (4-17-21), as well as juniors Josie Lang (14-17-31) and Addison Finn (10-17-27), are an active group that likes to work the point with crisp tape-to-tape passes in order to open up shooting and passing lanes.  

Junior Lily Timmons (.917 save percentage, 3 shutouts) has carried most of the goaltending duties for Stillwater this season, but they have utilized senior Maya Hanlon (.964 save percentage, 2 shutouts) as well.  

Gentry Academy is coming off a 6-3 victory against Blake. The Stars are led at forward by seniors Grace Delmonico (St. Cloud State commit, 21-18-39), Cara Sajevic (St. Thomas commit, 20-24-44), Rachel Agerter (Assumption commit, 14-19-33) and Alexa Hanrahan (10-12-22). Gentry Academy's power play has been dangerous at 32.1%.

Senior Jenessa Gazdik (Minnesota State commit, 13-22-35) and JuliAnna Gazdik (Minnesota State commit, 11-20-31), as well as junior Skylar Salscheider (4-9-13), are skilled two-way defenders who help Gentry Academy dictate the tempo of a game.  

Senior Zoe Laming (1.76 goals against average) has carried most of the goaltending workload for Gentry Academy, but they have used fellow senior Rylee Bartizal (2.17 goals against average, 3 shutouts) as well.
