Cretin-Derham Hall prevailed 7-5 the last time these two clubs met on January 5th. Can the Raiders complete the regular season sweep? Youth Hockey Hub recently interviewed Cretin-Derham Hall head coach Matt Funk as part of their Rink of Fire podcast.  

Cretin-Derham Hall is coming off a 3-2 victory over White Bear Lake.

The Raiders are led at forward by seniors Jake Fisher (Northern Michigan commit, #108 NHL Central Scouting Mid-Term rankings, 25-24-49), Attila Lippai (St. Thomas commit, 14-20-34), and Colin Scanlan (7-11-18) as well as junior Chuck Owens (8-14-22) provide most of the scoring punch up front. Freshman Max Anderson (12-8-20) is showing a lot of promise. Cretin-Derham Hall's power play is deadly efficient, lighting the lamp at 30.3%.

On defense, seniors Colton Jamieson (St. Thomas commit, 6-17-23) and Simon Hogue (3-24-27), as well as sophomore Jimmy Dodig (4-12-16), are a well-rounded two-way defense corps.  

The Raiders have split goaltending duties between junior Leo Miller (.894 save percentage) and sophomore Owen Nelson (.867 save percentage) this season.

Stillwater is coming off a 3-0 victory over East Ridge.

The Ponies forward group is led by seniors Ty Tuccitto (15-12-27) and Ethan Bernier (5-10-15), junior Blake Vanek (7-9-16), and playmaking sophomores Brody Dustin (6-11-17) and Carson Kingbay (6-8-14) prefers a run and gun style of play.  

On defense, seniors Daniel Roeske (4-13-17), Morgan Spetz (4-7-11), and junior Wyatt Carroll (0-8-8) help the Ponies transition quickly from defense to offense. 

6'3", 225lbs senior Tomas Anderson (.902 save percentage, 2 shutouts) has carried most of the goaltending duties for Stillwater this season.
