Princeton at Monticello (Feb. 10, 7:00 PM)

This should be an intriguing rematch of two Section 5A clubs that has some significant seeding ramifications at stake.

Monticello prevailed 4-0 the last time these two clubs met on January 10th. Could the Moose earn a sweep against Princeton?  

Princeton is coming off a 3-2 loss to Proctor. The Tigers' attack is led by seniors Jacob Patnode (16-21-37), Jake Baumann (10-14-24), and Timothy Donnay (17-10-27), as well as sophomores Brody Kok (9-13-22) and Lane Olson (8-6-14) carry most of the scoring load for Princeton.    

On defense, senior Alexander Miller (3-5-8), junior Eli Christopher (1-6-7), and sophomore Dominic Patnode (4-4-8) are leaned upon to provide diligent support at both ends of the ice.  

Senior James Koecher (.890 save percentage, 2 shutouts) has been Princeton's workhorse between the pipes throughout most of the season.  

Monticello is coming off a 4-0 shut out of Pine City.

Seniors Brayden Dunn (6-16-22), Tyler Miller (6-11-17), and Jake Larson (12-6-18), as well as juniors Gunnar Simon (12-9-21) and Roman Thompson (4-17-21), spearhead the Monticello attack.

On defense, senior Brady Bergstrom (3-11-14), junior Cam Schmitz (2-11-13), and sophomore Aidan Widmark (2-7-9) log big minutes for the Moose and are used in all situations.  

Junior goaltender Owen Soderholm (.923 save percentage, 2 shutouts) has made every start this season for the Moose.
