Minnetonka is the number one team in Minnesota, but they will be tested a few times this year by Edina. Both the Skippers and Hornets could lose top players to Varsity...so stay tuned to the top. Wayzata, Lakeville North and Sibley are the high risers so far in the early season - the Panthers and Warriors are also susceptible to a key loss or two to Varsity teams as well.
This weekend, the top three teams in MN are headed to Chicago for the Bauer World Invite - we will follow those three closely. And next weekend, The Blue Ox has four of the top five teams in the field. Combine that hockey and high school tryouts to the mix and the whole rankings process could get real interesting come November 16.
