Minnetonka #1...no more words needed. It is a race for #2. Edina, Cloquet and Blaine in a three car pile up with Wayzata, EP and Moorhead tailing pretty fast. White Bear sneaks in with a nice start for the Bears, Sean Padden's teams always seem to improve as the season wears on. A bear sighing in November is a bad sign for teams come March.

Despite losing two great players to Varsity hockey (Ben Doherty and Jack Westlund) the Cards are number 1 in the state. Should be a great season for this group of kids to grow their own games...the '19 and '20 classes in Alex are deep. Stillwater is all the rage so far going undefeated in 16 games so far. They tied Greenway and WBL "A" which indicates that those two teams are also lethal.

We think that Armstrong Cooper is a contender, but finishing third the past two says they have their work cut out for them. Princeton wins the Breezy tourney, they are top ten, playing in District 10 will be a good test for the Tigers.

Commentary

Way too early to call a leader at this level. Edina Green roasted White on Sunday, Wayzata Blue has been outstanding so far and we have no real data up north. OMG has a nice mix of young and old talent, a lot gets sorted out by early to mid December each year at Bantam B.
