Tonka is back in the cat bird's seat after winning the Spirit of Duluth. They beat Thunder Bay who narrowly defeated new #2 Cloquet in back-to-back games Sunday. Edina falls to Prior Lake after a brief stint as #1, they face Eden Prairie Thursday night at Braemar.

Brainerd climbs a few spots after winning the Roseau tourney last weekend. One hockey fan said of the Warriors, "that's the best team we've seen all year!" Prior Lake continues to impress the pollsters with great performances against bigger and stronger competition.

Commentary

Still way too early to call a true number one in Bantam A. Armstrong Cooper is this week's choice - a very deep and talented team that figures to be a top team all year. Defending champ Orono continues to climb. District 3 will have some great games this Winter...Orono and Wayzata face off Wednesday night.

Commentary

Brainerd no surprise climbing the rankings. Last year the Warriors finished third in state with a decent Bantam AA team, this year they have a wonderful BAA team which means big things for their B1 team again this year.

Wayzata Blue is a notch above everyone right now, after the Trojans there are several great teams looking to catch their stride.
