Edina and Wayzata are separating themselves from the field...they are both pretty good right now. Hastings/Rosemount is 12-1-2 in their last 15 games - they jump into the fray. Watch out for Brainerd, they are young but very talented - they might be a factor come March.

Farmington proves their top ranking with a big tourney win in Fargo last weekend...lots of good hockey in District 8 this year. Park Cottage Grove, Eastview and Rosemount are all teams that will contend down the stretch.
It looks to be a two horse race with Andover and Edina right now...but don't be surprised if there is a shock or two in the next six weeks. It is hard to go an entire season undefeated.

A lot of great teams at this level - EP and Andover seem to be the class so far. Watch out for OMG, Tonka and Burnsville/Apple Valley...any of those teams could make a run. Burnsville/AV has only lost once so far - begging the question, did they really need to merge?
