Commentary

Two weeks of huge flux at the AA level.  A few things still remain constant. Eden Prairie and Benilde are the two best teams in Minnesota. "But Tony, Blaine beat EP?" Yes, and Blaine lost to Anoka. Drop the mic. Shout out to Holy Family...they have had an impressive couple of weeks and make a case to be the number one team in section 2AA seedings. STA stumbles into the top 10, mostly because it is a spot no one seems to want. Grand Rapids will move up the charts with a few wins this week....or not be heard of again until playoffs. I Iove the Thunderhawks...way too much talent not to be a top ten team.

Commentary

Apollo keeps winning...after an opening season loss to Bemidji, a top AA seed in section 8AA, the Outsiders just keep rolling. They will get tested this week with games against Brainerd and Breck. The Mustangs lost two last week to middling AA programs STMA and Rosemount. Hermantown wins their holiday tournament - they hold on to #2, meanwhile section 7A rival Hibbing remains unbeaten just down the road.
