Welcome back Elk River to the #4 slot...the spot no one seems to want to claim. After a good weekend, the Elks take claim on an important spot in the regional seeding process. Blaine and Prior Lake are the two hottest AA teams in Minnesota - they both played well in White Bear and move up in the rankings. This is the first stop for the Bengals in the Staff Rankings!

Every team in the top five has had some great success lately and a black eye or two. MVI shows well and beats #6AA Rochester AA and then loses 6-2 to unranked AA Cloquet. Mound Westonka loses to a couple AA teams, but beats JCNSP by a touchdown. JCNSP beats Mankato who has had some big wins the last few weeks. Edina beats MVI in Edina Invite and then settles for a tie with CC on Sunday.
Crazy couple weeks lie ahead...especially in East regional where MVI, JCNSP and Mound Westonka will likely face off.

OMG continues to hold onto #1 despite losing to Edina Green, Edina White since losing to the Leafbirds have won 12 straight with 10 of them not that close. Morris-Benson joins the top 10 despite an OT loss to Northern Lakes. District playoffs and berths to regionals will feature some battles between old friends at this point all over the state.
