The #4 spot is practically cursed this year...it is now PCG's for at least the second time, may third. Grand Rapids is slowly climbing the ladder, a sleeper and the host of the state tourney...the top three better be careful of how full the IRA could get if they qualify out of the north...the north regional should be fun.
Blaine is finding their groove the last couple weeks, too. The seeding meeting next Sunday will challenge coaches to know who has been hot and who has cooled a little.

Mankato punches a ticket to regions...they will need to get through district 6 (Edina, Tonka) to get to state. How about Little Falls...they win three straight last weekend and get the #2 seed out of district 15!!
Virginia beats rival Hibbing Sunday in International Falls to punch a ticket to Proctor, the Blue Devils - winners of the White Bracket in the Founder's Cup have a very deep team. The North region will be a dog fight with North Branch the favorite to make it to state.
The biggest fight will be the East region with the top three teams (Mound Westonka, JCNSP, and Mounds View Irondale) in the state facing off for two spots!

#4 Hallock punched its ticket regions, as did tenth ranked Morris Benson - they avoided D15 foil Northern Lakes - who fell to Fergus, but avenged it getting the second seed.
District 6 gave Edina White a bid region for winning the league...Edina Green, Tonka and Jefferson will battle for the final two seeds. OMG doesn't look to have much trouble in district 3 or the east region. Rapids won big in Ely the Thunderhawks look to be a safe pick out of the North.
