The top 4 teams have separated themselves from the rest of the state over the last couple weeks. Especially BSM...they are potentially a great undefeated story. Tonka wins the Lake and has been impressive, as has Lakeville North and Stillwater. Hard to imagine these not the top 4 seeds come state tourney...ASSUMING they all make it out of sections. Each will have a demon or two to exorcise.
Benilde - beat Wayzata twice in two weeks and overcome the loss of Cade Gleekel.
Tonka - beat Prior Lake and Holy Family/EP winner...very tough.
Lakeville North - actually beat Farmington, ASSUMING they can get by LVS.
Stillwater - two words Hill Murray.

Similar to AA, the top four haven't really changed much over the course of the year. Hermantown, Breck and Mahtomedi stumbled...Apollo lost to Breck in OT and to 8AA #1 seed Bemidji in the final minute. Each has some meat on the bone come sections.
Hermantown - they just blew out Hibbing Thursday, can they get to Ryan Ullan again to the tune of 7 goals???
Breck - last year the Mustangs squeaked by Delano in OT...this year they are stronger and will not be tested.
Apollo - tremendous defensive team that will have its work cut out for them in both the semis and finals...the toughest section of these top four.
Mahtomedi - many think that SPA has the mettle to take out the Zephyrs in the finals...should be classic battle of force (Maht) vs. finesse (SPA).
