The North does not have a seeding process like the metro, teams play off either via a mini-district tourney or regular season champion. Grand Rapids was the only district 12 team at AA, they are the default #1 seed and Hermantown fills the #2 seed vacated. The Hawks and Brainerd are some really tough #2 seeds. One of he best games of the weekend could be Brainerd and Cloquet in Cloquet Saturday morning - wow, that could be good.

Three or four teams for two spots. The Sunday play-in game in the north is always one of the best games of the year at any level.
