Andover, Fargo Battle For Title

With only six 10A teams in the Danglefest field, the top two teams who will duel for the championship trophy have already been decided.

Andover will face Fargo (ND), and a battle between the Huskies' powerful offense and the stellar goaltending of Fargo's Taylor Kressin will surely commence.

The Huskies have outscored their opponents 13-2 through three games, downing Fargo 2-0, Edina Green 5-0, and Eden Prairie 6-2 en route to the finals. Leading the Huskies offensively has been Ella Thoreson with six points and Mackenzie Jones with five points. All five of Jones' points can be attributed to goals, a category in which she leads all skaters.

Olivia Kalbus leads Fargo in scoring with four goals and five points and handles the offensive duties while Kressin takes care of the back end. After falling to Andover 2-0, Kressin helped lead the Freeze to back-to-back wins over Champlin Park and Mahtomedi by scores of 5-1 and 3-1 respectively.
