Edina managed to keep the third period scoreless on Sunday, as the Hornets captured their second straight Bantam A state title with a 2-1 win over Cottage Grove. 

A.J. Doll scored midway through the first period to spot the Hornets a 1-0 lead, and Prescot Sexton added an insurance goal early in the second to give the Hornets the cushion they would need for victory. Dalton Anderson pulled the Wolfpack within one in the second period, but staunch goaltending from the Hornets' Dominic Cook held off the attack long enough for the win. 

Cook finished with 10 saves in the win, while his Cottage Grove counterpart Conner Nelson stopped 14 of 16 shots.
