Warroad put the hammer down in the third period of Sunday's 6-3 win over Sartell.

Scoring with just 33 seconds left in a period is a surefire way to swing momentum to your side.

That's exactly what Warroad did in the Peewee A championship game, as Jayson Shaugabay knotted the game against Sartell 3-3 at the 14:27 mark of the second period and spurring the Warriors to a three-goal third frame and a 6-3 victory.

Sartell's 3-2 lead was led by Jack Schmitz, who scored twice for the Sabres, with Teddy McCabe notching the other goal. In between the Sabre scores, Ryan Lund and Kayven Theriault tallied goals for the Warriors.

After Shaugabay's game-tying goal, Murray Marvin-Cordes, Lund, and Carson Pilgrim would score in succession to earn Hockeytown U.S.A.'s first Peewee title at any level.
