2007 Division

The Lake Superior Stars and their 2-0 record own Pool A of the 2007 Division, edging the Mosquitos 5-3 and Hometown Hockey 6-3. Both the aforementioned Mosquitos and Hometown are nipping at the Stars' tails, just two points behind the pool's leader. Tommy Chicago's Cade Sherman paces the pool in scoring with a pair of goals and four total points. Four Lake Superior Stars follow Sherman with three points each.

All four squads in Pool B are knotted at 2 points each in the standings, and all four teams wield identical 1-1-0 records. Saturday's batch of games will be key in determining who reigns as tops in Pool B as teams separate. Ryder Betzold, skating for MPH this weekend, was held scoreless on Friday, but his two-goal, four-point performance on Thursday still places him first in scoring for the pool.
