Pool A has been dominant so far by the Lake Superior Stars, and the team based in northern Minnesota will take on Blue Army as the No. 1 seed in Pool A. Blue Army takes over the No. 2 seed in Pool B after falling to Euro American Red in its final game of Saturday's schedule, snapping a three-game winnings streak. 

Euro American Red took Pool B with a perfect 4-0 record, allowing just six goals over those four games. Leading scorer Danny Nelson carries EAR into the semifinals with seven goals and nine points. Meeting Euro American Red in the semifinals will be Red Army, which has relied heavily on the stellar goaltending of Myles Gunderson.
