Class A Notes

Warroad cements its status as the top team in Class 1A with a convincing 3-0 win over No. 2-1A Breck on Nov. 30 as the Warriors enter a road stretch of four straight away games. As for the Mustangs, the team is too good and its schedule too strong to bump them from the No. 2 slot.

Hibbing/Chisholm defeated White Bear Lake, a quality Class 2A team, 2-0 to enter the rankings this week at No. 6, just behind undefeated Mound-Westonka. Fergus Falls, Cambridge-Isanti/Mora/Pine City, and Minneapolis make their initial forays into the top-10, with the Novas on a three-game winning streak.
